Okay, you already know what style item you’re looking for, but do you know it’s much more than that? For example, t-shirts come in 50/50 or 100% cotton. Is one better than the other? Not really, it’s just a matter of preference and perhaps the intended use of the shirts. It is just a t-shirt to give away, or is it something you and your employees will be wearing often? Will it be worn indoors or outdoors? These are just a few things that you’ll need to decide. For giveaways, you may want 50/50, a good shirt but lower in cost. If the shirts are to be worn primarily outdoors you may want 100% cotton, a fabric that will breathe better in the heat.
When choosing sweat shirts, it’s a little simpler. Do you want crew neck or hood? Sport shirts can be easy too; you have jersey or pique knit. Jersey knit fabric is more like a t-shirt, and pique knit is a woven fabric.
When getting your information together, you’ll need to know what kind of group you’re ordering for– youth, adults, or both– and the largest size you’ll need. This is important, in that each size or size group has its own prices.
Now we’re getting somewhere! So now you know what kind of item and sizes you need, how about color and quantity. Darker color shirts require flash printing, causing them to cost slightly more. Quantity is important as well. The more items you order, the better the price; this helps us get the price right for you!
Last but not least, where would you like us to print on the garment and how many ink colors are involved? This helps us to determine what will go into the preparation of the imprints. Now that you have all the information, ordering or requesting a price quote should be an easier experience.
Good luck and happy shopping!
